Quess Group enters into agreement to acquire Aramark India Pvt Ltd

Quess Group, India’s Leading Integrated Business Services provider, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Aramark India Pvt Ltd (Aramark India) from Aramark, subject to statutory and regulatory approvals.

Based out of Mumbai, Aramark India is a facility management company with niche offerings in hospitality and healthcare facility management. The company has operations in more than 80 sites pan-India and with a workforce of over 2,500 employees spread across 9 states. Aramark India services several marquee clients, many of whom are among India’s leading conglomerates.

This acquisition will strengthen Quess’ position as a leading Pan India Facilities Management player with an integrated service offering spanning soft and hard services, pest control and catering. Post this acquisition, Quess’ Integrated Facility Management vertical has more than 20,000 employees and is poised to emerge as India’s leading Facility Management player.

The acquired business will benefit by having a long term, financially strong shareholder since Quess Group is an investee company of Fairfax Financial Holdings, held through its Indian listed subsidiary, Thomas Cook India Ltd. The future brand of the business will be decided by the new shareholders on or around the closing of the acquisition.
